In this ongoing project, custom necklaces are made using text that is summarized from stories that women share about their experiences with sexism, misogyny, sexual harassment and discrimination. The necklace is made of the story summary printed on clear laminated plastic with a matte black chain. Each woman will receive a copy of her necklace for free as a thank-you for participating. Copies of the necklaces will also be available for sale to fund the project. By wearing a necklace of another woman’s story, her experience becomes shared and the burden of the story is spread out among many women.
