I am currently seeking a series of venues for my COVID-19 installation so it can travel and reach as many people as possible. If you are associated with or know of a venue or organization that would be interested in displaying this project, I would love to hear from you!

Okay, this is a weird one . . . I need to find more rolls of the full-sheet Trader Joe’s paper towels for my COVID-19 project. (They discontinued the regular size rolls of full-sheet paper towels and now only sell the slim rolls of half-sheet paper towels.) If you have some, please contact me. I will buy them from you (or you can donate to the arts).

Lara’s Lab is located in the cool and funky Underground Level of Art Works Downtown (AWD) in San Rafael, just 15 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. There are 30 other studio artists, a ceramics studio (with classes), a jeweler’s guild, and 4 galleries on site. The surrounding blocks have plenty of restaurants, bars, a video game arcade, a movie theater and more. Downtown San Rafael is one of California’s 14 Cultural Arts Districts, making it a rich place to explore Bay Area arts!

2nd Friday Art Walk from 5PM to 8PM on March 14, April 11 and May 9 (and the 2nd Friday of every month in 2025)

2025 Marin Open Studios from 11AM to 6PM on May 3, 4, 10 and 11

Art Works Downtown general open hours are Wednesdays through Saturdays from 12PM to 6PM. My hours are variable—contact me if you want to make sure I am here when you visit. (Even when I am not present, you can see my work on the hallway walls of Lara’s Lab and also through its windows.)
